Association A few words about us ...

The Polish Photovoltaic Association (PPA), established in 2019, is the largest industry organisation in Poland supporting the development of large-scale PV installations. Currently, PSF is representing more than 100 entities. Key objectives of PSF include increasing political and social awareness of the PV sector and development of appropriate regulatory environment. Polish Photovoltaics Association is integrating the PV market in Poland, providing space for exchange of knowledge and establishment of new relations, and organising seminars and events. It is the host of the PV Congress — the largest event of the PV industry in Poland.

Ewa Magiera

For almost a decade, she has been working in the renewable energy sector. Ewa’s area of expertise is Public Relations activities, strategy building and relations with public administration. Over the past two years, she was responsible for the strategy and communication of the wind industry. Previously, as an independent expert she advised entities from the offshore wind energy sector. As the Vice President of the Small Wind Energy Association, Ewa acts to integrate entrepreneurs from the sector. She also has got a 10 year work experience in local authorities in Warsaw. Ewa is also licensed real estate broker and member of the Warsaw Real Estate Association. She owns the PV Development Partners company.

Irena Gajewska

Irena holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the Warsaw University, with the specialization in the European Union studies. Irena worked for the Polish Wind Energy Association and the Polish Photovoltaics Association. She was also the vice-president of the RE-Source Poland Hub – platform of the corporates and the renewable industry cooperating to create favourable business and regulatory conditions for concluding corporate power purchase agreements at the Polish market. Irena is one of the founders of the Visegrad+RE platform integrating RES organisations in Central & Eastern Europe. The parties work together under the auspices of the E3G think tank to accelerate energy transition in Europe. In October 2022 Irena joined Lightsource bp as the Government Affairs Lead for Poland. Irena’s responsibility within the Polish Photovoltaics Board are the regulatory affairs at the European Union level.

Expert involved in climate protection and energy issues for over 10 years. Vice President of the Renewable Energy Association, President of the Warsaw Institute for Educational Studies and the Baltic Sea Foundation. Founder and member of the SMEW Management Board and the Vice President of PWEA from 2015 to 2018. From 2007 to 2011 Member of the Polish Parliament, in which he participated in the Environment Committee, the Committee for the European Union, and the Parliamentary Team for Energy. Graduate of international relations and management.

Working in the renewable energy industry since 2007. He gained his experience at Siemens Gamesa and Nordex Acciona. Currently holds a position of Director of Project and Environmental Management Department at EDP Renewables. A graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Kozminski University. Passionate about crime stories and travelling.

Optoelectronics and technologist,  he has beeb associated with the photovoltaic industry for over a decade, graduate of the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics at the Wrocław University of Technology. Specialist in the field of semiconductor structures and power electronic converters. Lecturer and trainer of the Polish Photovoltaic Society and the Academy of Energy of the Foundation. Lesław A. Paga, author of training programs, e.g. in Emiter Net, Fronius Polska, Huawei CEE&Nordic, co-founder of the Polish Photovoltaic Development Association, head of the working group for Technical Requirements of the Polish Photovoltaics Association, expert of the Cable-pooling group of the Polish Wind Energy Association.
