Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda has announced a new program encouraging investment in RES. It is a tenant prosumer for housing cooperatives and communities – it will allow to recover 100% of the value of the energy transferred to the energy system and receive 50% of the subsidy for the installation.
As the Minister explains, the manager of a multi-unit building will be able to invest in a larger installation than is needed for the common part, and self-consumption will only apply to the common part. All energy fed into the grid will be billed monthly with the seller at wholesale prices and credited to the owner’s account.
Grant for RES
The new program will also offer co-financing for 50% of RES installations. The grant will cover: purchase, assembly or construction of a new renewable energy source installation or modernization of the installation, as a result of which the installed capacity of the installation will increase by at least 25%. Co-financing will also cover supporting installations – energy storage, heat pumps.
Applications for co-financing can be submitted from February 1, 2023 to Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.
