Based in Alberta, Canada, TIU Canada is an international independent renewable power producer executing a global strategy for net-zero power generation with projects in Canada, Poland, and Ukraine. TIU Canada has a proven track record of successfully developing and operating renewable energy projects worldwide, including three operational projects in Ukraine and seven projects in Poland. • The management team has strong experience constructing, developing, and currently managing three solar power plants in Ukraine, which are fully operational despite the war and have full power capacity 45 MW.
• The team has extensive experience in constructing and developing 7 MW projects in Poland and plans to increase their investment to 200 MW.
• In Canada we are currently constructing a solar power plant with full power capacity 17 MW.
• Previous experience constructing, developing, and managing 3 GW of installed utility-scale projects worldwide.
• Significant experience developing and completing complex grid connections, despite challenging geopolitical conditions in Ukraine and grid constraints in Alberta, on time and within budget.
• A strong track record of developing and managing institutional projects valued at $50 million USD and more.
• Successful development of debt and refinancing syndicates for completed power stations with commercial banks and international financial institutions.
• The team has originated, negotiated, and operationalized Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) on four continents, with counterparties including industrials, corporates, trading houses, and utilities.
